WEG CFW-10 is a perfect solution for many industrial and commercial applications with its compact size, easy set-up, and a simplified keypad with LED readout, complete with diagnostics and fully programmable I/0. The outstanding feature of the WEG CFW-10 is that it controls three phase AC motors with a single phase AC input. WEG has expand the CFW-10 offering three new HP ratings (1,2 and 3HP) and frame sizes (sizes 2 and 3). With these new products, a single-phase 120 VAC input voltage will produce three phase 230V to drive motors up to 1 HP and single phase 230 VAC input voltage will control motors up to 3HP. By eliminating the need for a step-up transformer to operate three phase 230V AC motors when only single phase 115V or 230V are available, it increases flexibility and lower costs to make it a perfect economical solution.

Recommended Reactor (25-99 ft) or Filter for (100 ft+)
On installations where the motor may be positioned between 25 and 100 feet from this VFD, we recommend the use of a Line reactor. These are used to ensure efficiency and reliability even when operating over this distance. On installations where the motor may be positioned more than 100 feet from this VFD, we recommend the use of a DVDT Filter. These are used to ensure efficiency and reliability even when operating over this distance.
4 Steps to Select a Product
1. Evaluate These Requirements
Ensure your motor operates between 208 and 240 volts.
You must be able to connect directly to the motor bypassing any existing switches and contactors.
Your machine's only 3 phase load must consist of a single 3 phase motor.
2. Review Common Suitable Loads
3. Download and Review the TEMCo™ Quick Start Guide
4. Choose a Drive from the Table that Matches with the Following Specifications
A. What is the HP and AMPS of your motor?
(Base final selection on motor AMPS. HP is a guide only.)
B. Is the voltage of your motor between 208V - 240V?
(All CFW10s output voltage within this range.)
C. What is the voltage of the power available to you?
D. How would you like to control the speed? Keypad with Dial or Keypad only
E. Click the model number of the drive that matches your required specifications.
